Slight color bleeding due to my own image quality.

I made this dress to wear to a concert coming up. I’m not a skinny minnie but also not super sized. I ordered a 3x just to make sure it would fit my bust.
It’s also longer than pictured which I am not mad about. Doesn’t button all the way down which is perfect.
It fits great with ONE exception. THE SLEEVES. they’re so taut that if my arms aren’t positioned just right, they feel tight as hell. If I had bigger arms I’d be in trouble.

I love everything about this. It is even better than I expected it to be.
It is soft and lightweight. Slightly puffy adorable shoulders. The button loops are springy making buttoning it really easy. It is exactly as sheer as I was hoping.

It's really hard to see how fabulous this dress is from the mock ups. Sheer fabric, lightweight, stretchy buttons... in this little ensemble I float like a summer of '69 hippy. Chuck a pair of leggings and a biker jacket over the top and you've got springtime boho; layer over your best bikini and you're rocking brunch to beach without offending the locals, over a vest dress you're pulling off the casual summer work look without sweating buckets over the laptop. When I say these dresses are going to be my summer wardrobe sorted I'm not joking!

Bit too long for hopping on and off the tube train (not that I won't be doing that in it anyway) Also a pain to design with all the fiddly bits (wish there was a button on these complex designs which said 'make the print the same size across the whole dress')
